How ZYCI Works With Customers

ZYCI is a precision machining partner for customers who value reliability, transparency, and long-term performance over hype or shortcuts.

What You Can Expect

  • Realistic commitments. We do not over-promise. If we commit, it is because we believe it can be executed correctly.
  • Precision execution. Quality is built into every step — planning through final inspection.
  • Disciplined growth. We grow capacity in step with our ability to maintain quality, delivery, and communication.
  • Clear, fast communication. If something changes, you’ll know early — along with a plan.
  • Respect for critical work. We understand the importance of the systems our parts support.

Our View on Partnerships

We aim to become the supplier you don’t need to re-quote constantly because expectations are clear, performance is predictable, and trust has been earned.

When Things Don’t Go Perfectly

Manufacturing is complex. Issues happen. What matters is rapid communication, accountability, and collaborative resolution.

No hype. No surprises. Just disciplined execution.

Our History

ZYCI was founded in 2013 by Mitch Free, a machinist-turned-entrepreneur with decades of experience in aerospace manufacturing, operations, and industrial technology.  ZYCI is Mitch's fourth successful business.  He serves as the CEO of ZYCI with a passion for manufacturing and aerospace.

The company began as a quick-turn supplier of low-volume, high-complexity machined parts, supporting customers who needed precision, speed, and reliability on challenging programs. From the beginning, ZYCI focused on disciplined execution, realistic commitments, and close communication with engineering and procurement teams.

Over time, many of those early prototype and low-volume projects evolved into repeat programs with steadily increasing production volumes. As customer demand grew, ZYCI grew with it—intentionally and responsibly—adding capacity, systems, and talent to support higher-volume, repeating work without compromising quality or delivery performance.

Today, ZYCI continues to support quick-turn, low-volume, high-complexity machining, while also operating dedicated facilities and production cells focused on higher-volume repeating programs. This dual capability allows ZYCI to support customers from early development through sustained production.

Throughout its growth, ZYCI has remained committed to the same principles it was founded on: precision execution, honest communication, disciplined growth, and long-term customer relationships.
