How ZYCI Works With Customers
Reduce Risk, Not Introduce It
We work with teams operating in high-consequence environments — where parts must be right, delivery must be predictable, and accountability matters. Our role is to reduce risk, not introduce it.
ZYCI aims to become the supplier you don’t need to constantly re-quote or re-qualify — because expectations are clear, performance is predictable, and trust has been earned. We think beyond the print. We understand what happens downstream if a part is late, out of tolerance, or poorly documented.
Our Commitment to Customers
What You Can Expect
When Things Don’t Go Perfectly
Manufacturing is complex. Issues can happen. What matters is how they are handled: rapid communication, clear ownership, accountability, and collaborative resolution.
No hype. No surprises. Just disciplined execution.
- 01
Realistic commitments.
We do not over-promise. If we commit, it is because we believe it can be executed correctly.
- 02
Precision execution.
Quality is built into every step — planning through final inspection.
- 03
Disciplined growth.
We grow capacity in step with our ability to maintain quality, delivery, and communication.
- 04
Clear, fast communication.
If something changes, you’ll know early — along with a plan.
- 05
Respect for critical work.
We understand the importance of the systems our parts support.
Our History
Founded in 2013
ZYCI was founded in 2013 by Mitch Free, a machinist-turned-entrepreneur with decades of experience in aerospace manufacturing, operations, and industrial technology. ZYCI is Mitch’s fourth successful business, and he continues to serve as CEO with a deep, hands-on passion for manufacturing and aerospace.
The company began as a quick-turn supplier of low-volume, high-complexity machined parts. Over time, many of those early prototype and low-volume projects evolved into repeat programs with increasing production volumes — and ZYCI grew with them, intentionally and responsibly, adding capacity, systems, and talent without compromising quality or delivery.
Today, ZYCI supports both quick-turn, high-complexity machining and sustained production through dedicated facilities and production cells — from early development through full-rate production.

ZYCI exists to take responsibility for manufacturing when the stakes are high.
Our Internal Manifesto
What We Believe
ZYCI exists to be a trusted, long-term manufacturing partner for customers building critical systems. We measure success by repeat business, earned trust, and sustained profitability — not hype, headlines, or speed for its own sake.
- 01
Precision is a discipline, not a claim.
Quality is designed into planning, machining, inspection, documentation, and communication.
- 02
Predictability beats heroics.
Reliable execution matters more than aggressive promises.
- 03
Trust compounds.
Every commitment we keep strengthens long-term relationships.
- 04
Growth must be absorbed, not forced.
Capacity is added only when people, processes, and systems are ready.
- 05
Problems don’t end relationships — silence does.
Early, honest communication builds confidence.
Our Internal Manifesto
How We Operate
- 01
Under-promise and over-deliver.
If we commit, it will be done correctly and on time. If we are unsure, we say so.
- 02
Relentless pursuit of process excellence.
Continuous improvement in setups, tooling, inspection, and documentation.
- 03
Respect for reality.
Machining is governed by materials, tolerances, and physics — we plan accordingly.
- 04
Customer protection.
Compliance, data security, and confidentiality are non-negotiable.
- 05
Systems over heroics.
Consistency matters more than individual brilliance.
Our Internal Manifesto
How We Measure Ourselves
- Customer repeat business and referrals
- On-time delivery
- First-pass yield and quality escapes
- Margin quality (not revenue at any cost)
- Employee retention and pride in work
